Similarities in Latency

The master’s thesis “Similarities in Latency” explores the concept of latency in photography and its connection with the environment of a concrete plant. It is a set of objects made from residual materials from the process of producing concrete prefabricates, which are then buried deep under the Earth’s surface. Photographs are transferred to the manufacturing artifacts using the historical cyanotype photography technique. The entire set explores analogies between two distinct processes and links them into one unit.
