The theme of the thesis is an introspective exploration through text and language. The artist captures the story of growing up in eastern Slovakia and being raised by deaf parents. The testimony is stylized in the format of a music video clip. In the lyrics, she reflects on questions of identity, origins, and various perceptions of self. Storytelling, sensitivity, authenticity, and a search for place are important attributes, as are pop references, self-objectification and self-irony.
