The work is a spatial installation made of water-soluble materials, and it explores the topic of farewells and the acceptance of loss – both of place and of loved ones. It features a performance in which the artist waters a model of her bedroom as a metaphor for purification and transience. Connecting voice, body and space in ritual reconciliation, it offers an empathetic view into the universal experience of loss, transformation and acceptance – an inevitable and creative part of our personal growth.
