The work explores ageing as a process and touches upon the violence that the elderly may face. In collaborating with her own grandmother, the author reflects on the experience of old age and its traumas, becoming both an observer and participant. The work is presented as an installation and combines personal experience with a symbolic treatment through objects and video. It also uses eggshells, a material that conveys the duality of birth and death, and is naturally associated with the theme of aging.
