Narrative and Emotional Expression in Painting as a Storytelling Tool

The work, whose alternate title is Women Beyond Definition, comprises a series of images and a video which explore the trajectory of the female subject from social discipline towards the awakening of female subjectivity and autonomy. The diversity of formats and media – from traditional oil paintings to an interdisciplinary video – reflects the topic as well as the artist’s expressive style. The project explores the possibility of female emancipation and presents both a personal and creative breakthrough.
