All water bodies are alive and the sea is the most alive and powerful of them all. The work is a visual love letter to the sea – a symbol of freedom, wildness and mystery. The artist explores the personal and archetypal relationship to this force of nature, its impact on emotions and the imagination. Reflecting on this fascination and the inner chaos precipitated by its absence, the work considers this untamable entity as a friend without limit, inviting us to voyage, dare, search and discover.
